Out of Something

Out of thin air, we emerge
Out of nowhere, we appear.
Out of beings, we converge.
Out of somewhere, we discover.
Out of breathings, we merge.

Out of chaos, comes calm.
Out of yearning, comes passion.
Out of our pasts, we leave behind.
Out of our presents, we finally fashion.

Out of our then, we but goners;
Out of our now, we exposed.
Out of a twirl, swirls blissful honors;
Out of our clothes, we disclosed.

Out of our minds, we head to sheets;
Out of bed, we uncover each other.
Out of our heads, we're off the streets;
Out of our bodies, we're each other's lover.

Out of darkness, we now see clearly.
Out of light, we're now ripe and ready.
Out of feelings, we now feel dearly.
Out of spirit, we're now laughter and giddy.

Out of our bodies, we revive our youth;
Out of our hearts, we release our fears.
Out of our minds, we tell our truth;
Out of our hearts, we mingle our tears.

Out of our thoughts, we spread seeds.
Out of our seeds, we sprout us.
Out of our spirit, we become known.
Out of our growth, we become ourselves.

Out of our beings, we know much;
Out of senses, we feel alive.
Out of our fingers, we know touch;
Out of tenderness, we thrive.

Out of our hands, we share power;
Out of ourselves, we show up.
Out of our bodies, we enliven each shower;
Out of our desire, we sup.

Out of touch, we find pleasure;
Out of our togetherness, we thrive.
Out of talk, we dial;
Out of distance, we drive.

Out of trust, we’ll stay afloat;
Out of us, we’ll stay grounded.
Out of life, we’ll take note;
Out of breath, we’ll have loved.

Out of nothing, we appeared
Out of something, we neared
Out of something else, we steered.
Out of something more, we hold each other dear.
